"Are You Still" by Leven Kali is perhaps the epitome of modern R&B, where the beat is funky, and the singer remains consistent without the need to shout or blow, as if it were the final song of a two-hour concert.

Sekou has quickly and quietly become one of my favorite artists. His deep voice, great ear for instrumentals, and unique harmonies are simply what music is missing, and with his new song “Dangerous Lover,” he does what comes naturally and, in lack of better terms, proves me right. Dare we say, the rookie of the year?
