Single - “Let Me Down” Churchill & Kristianna

“Let Me Down.” the single from Churchill’s latest album, “T.I.M.E (To Increase My Excellence) Feels honest, painfully relatable, and silky smooth all the same. Featuring Churchill and singer Kristianna, this song is a well-told introspective look into a documented break up featuring great production and ear-pleasing runs.

“Let Me Down” is a smooth mid-tempo track where the songstress reflects on the “What could have been” that often looms over failed attempts at love. The songwriting of  Kristianna displays a trademark vulnerability that’s defined the bleeding-heart soulfulness of the Detroit native.

“I don’t like how with me you’re just never satisfied.” Sings Kristianna over Churchill’s soft-bedded production. As she tells a simple story of not wanting the world from a former lover; but just wanting to be with the partner-gone-sour. In this definition, the song shines as it details the metamorphosis for love failing to reach the next steps of success. Kristiann brilliantly details the struggles of accepting these shortcomings and what concludes is a great collaboration between Churchill and the Daynite singer.

Churchill’s production lends a hand in paving the song’s direction, as the melody oozes relaxation and a signature R&B melodic environment. While I will not get into the intricacies associated with mixing and mastering music, Churchill presents a polished effort, which should go neither unnoticed nor unappreciated.

In the end, “I Don’t MInd” Is a classic R&B getaway that should be heard by anyone looking for a new sound with a classic feel.
