Project Review - To Be Continued by WhoIsJovie
While rappers often try this tactic to remind people that their pen game is sharp, nobody executes this better than #WhoIsJovie, who once again, brings forth his iron fist to remind people that when he puts pen to paper, there’s rarely a soul willing to match him letter-for-letter.

Concert Junkie here. Detroit, are you ready? Lil Wayne brings his highly anticipated “Tha Carter VI” tour to Little Caesars Arena on August 23, celebrating 20 years of the iconic Tha Carter series. I couldn’t be more excited.

Album Review - “Scorpio” by Madison McFerrin
Scorpio by Madison McFerrin is a beautiful vocal display by the songstress that highlights the rollercoaster of the trials of love, from seeing the worst version of yourself to understanding how a former lover may have been an unstable anchor to your life, Madison manages to take these talking points to grace us with an anthem that captures every spectrum of the relationship emotion through the 30+ minute project.
Album Review - “Who Can Blame Niko” by Niko Noir
Who Can Blame Niko is a story of finding consistent routes of relatability with the singer in all the worst ways. Whether that be relationships, overthinking, or finding tranquility in a world where irritation is around every corner.
Project Review - "Jewelz" by Crystal Crave
Crystal Crave is a breath of fresh air in the hip-hop community. A unique talent that knows the potential is there and, if nothing else, possesses the confidence to unabashedly flaunt her talents to the masses with what can only be described as an audio middle finger to opposition and naysayers alike.
Album Review - “Godfidence” by Madd keys
Metaphors for sports and rap are always a hand-in-hand partnership. There's no way around the coach and quarterback comparison when examining the relationship between a rapper and his producer.

Album Review - “I Feel Different Every Day (Delux)” by ChlotheGod
ChlotheGod musically is simultaneously a musical throwback to unfiltered emotional strength and a flash-forward with melodic creativity, willing to borrow elements from multiple genres to get her point across.

Concert Review: Millennium Tour
The ladies of my era all remember the Scream Tours, and I can honestly say I attended everyone starting back when I was in middle school. These tours were full of young heartthrob artists such as Lil Bow Wow, the original face of those tours, B2K, Mario, IMX, Pretty Ricky, and more.
Predicting The Album of 2025
Predicting the top albums of 2025.
With mainstream artists like FKA Twigs and The Weeknd releasing albums in January, I decided to enlist the help of my artistic friends to get their opinions on who they believe will have the best album of 2025.
Fresh off the highs of the 2024/2025 Grammys, each prediction is purely hypothetical and 100% fun. Enjoy.
Concert Review - Trevor Jackson at The El Club
I fell in love. This show has 100% set the bar for the rest of the year.
Single Review - “Escape” by Anwar Sadot
It has certainly been a long time coming, but Anwar Sadot has finally returned with a new single titled “Escape” featuring artist Field. Prior to this single, the last time we heard from Sadot musically was pre-Covid times and his stellar album Clarity.

Album Review - “Vengeance Be Mine” by London Beck
Vengeance Be Mine by London Beck is both an internal therapeutic release by the multi-talented instrumentalist and an audio-actual adventure that highlights Beck's ability to take listeners on a journey that's equal parts fun, invigorating, swaggering, and downright imaginative when need be.
Album Review - “If It’s Meant To Be” by Chris Paris
What is it like to be a hopeless romantic and a R&B singer?
Are your melodies captured under rain-soaked windows while your songs are written on tear-stained sheets of paper?
Are your conversations marked by nostalgic memories with past lovers, wondering what could have been, or are they simply lovers looking to escape the dating lifestyle?
Give a listen.
Local artist deserve to be heard, give them a chance with my spotify mix. You never know what you’ll find.
